Back to the drawing board....
I didn't do a great engineering job on my first 50' mast,
just one of 5 I will be eventually putting up for a loop skywire. Now I will have to take this one down and do it right (big headache). Anyone know a good source (good prices), for those high quality nautical type pulleys? What is best type of wire for guys? Meanwhile I did finally get on the air with my 80M OCF up 35', got over some initial mic shyness, and hopefully will go back for more, after I brush up on not sounding like a lid. Bill K6TAJ |

Anyone know a good source http://www.harkenstore.com/uniface.u...lcmw1.showPage (good prices), for those high quality nautical type pulleys? Hit the "clearance" menu and surf. Your vison of "good prices" . . ah, never mind . . I've bought some of their small blocks and they are defintely a couple cuts above and are worth every dime I spent on 'em. Despite what they cost . . What is best type of wire for guys? Dacron rope. Meanwhile I did finally get on the air with my 80M OCF up 35', got over some initial mic shyness, and hopefully will go back for more, after I brush up on not sounding like a lid. This'll fix yer mic fright problem. http://www.wavehunter.com/kentpadl.htm Bill K6TAJ w3rv |
