Looks good to me. I might even try to build one, myself.
In theory, it should work, but I think that there will be a small null
where the ends come together, unless it's just a loop. Let the
"Experts" argue that matter. If you think it will suit your QTH, go
for it.

I have used one at our radio club,
Not a bad aerial - in fact better performance than I though it
would be. it is basically a nest of dipoles bent round to form
a square. the ends DO NOT meet / touch and the feed point
has a balun on it.

I had a chum who built the same thing but for 10 meters only. It worked
well. I have no reason to think it wouldn't work in a multiband version.

you got me on that one, 'Doc
guess it's 'cos the hot ends of the dipole are close together & stuck in
a box. :-)
something to do with the lobe patterns I suppose, but as none of the
tech data is on the site, it's kinda hard to guess, well it is for a
maths duffer like me anyhow. :-)

I have 2, one used portable and the other is at my qth, contacts as good as
it gets from a dipole, worked japan, india, pakistan, argentina, brazil,
other south america countries & all over europe from NE England, usually on
cw. funnily enough can only contact/hear east coast USA.
get one and have some fun !!!

Good luck trying to get a response from the Cobbweb folks. I've tried
to corresponde with them to ask questions via email several times over
the past two years and so far they haven't had the courtesy to reply.
Maybe they are just not interested is sales to the US.....or maybe
they're no longer in business.

A much better "limited space" antenna is the Hexbeam ( www.hexbeam.com
). It is more expensive than a Cobbweb but the company is very
responsive to inquiries and I've hads several "on air" qsos with
satisfied users. I'm saving for one.
