noise bridge readings??
I am working on a project to build a switchable impendence balun network to
go between my 450 ohm twin lead and auto antenna tuner, using a Palomar rx noise bridge. I am somewhat confused interpretating the noise bridge readings, and the Palomars book is a bit vague on interpretating the resistance vs the xl and xc readings. I guess I should take the readings and plug them into a smith chart..but I know even less how to interpolate that little beastie. any help? |
From memory one control tells you R and the other is Xc or Xl depending
which way from zero. So set it for R then X and keep on till you get no improvement. -- 73 Hank WD5JFR "denton" wrote in message ...
