Ceramic insulator glazing repair.
 

If anyone has any experience patching the glazing on insulators so as to prevent them becoming saturated with water. The insulators in question are part of rather old antenna and mast kits that were originally made for the US Armed Forces. As a consequence thereof they are swaged into the guy lines and antenna assemblies so replacement of the insulators would mean rebuilding the kits from the component part level and I would like to avoid that if it can be done.
