Excuse me Gary. I don't bother with a computer (GIGO) program to teach me
what I learned by experience. What makes you think I am talking about a modeling program? I have been playing with antennas for 45 years. I can work my way through EZNEC, and I had to learn that also. Maybe you should spend some quality time with a good modeling program. I think you will find the results agree with that vast amount of practical experience you have. 73 Gary N4AST |

If it will confirm what I know, or can find, in a decent antenna book?? Dan/W4NTI |

program Just going on what I have done, it is really interesting to model antennas that I have have actually built, and see if the results agree with the model. Mostly they do. I have found that it is easier to model an antipacited design, and go through the various iterations to see how it pans out. It has been 4 years since I have built an antenna without modeling first Antennas are fun, and cheap, at least wire is cheap 73 Gary N4AST |
