Copper tape antennae?

Might be of interest to some; the model railway fraternity are
now using sticky-backed copper tape, 1cm wide, to distribute
power over their baseboards, especially now that single-feed
DCC needs to be applied everywhere.

Here's how it's used for loop antenna experimentation:

Both aluminum (aluminium, GB) and copper tape such as that have
been around for decades in window security applications.

Don't forget lead. Wouldn't be so good as an antenna though.

Also stained glass making. I remember people pointing out copper tape in
places like "Hints & Kinks" in QST, saying it was used for the stained
glass making so it was available at hobby shops. Though I guess hobby
shops aren't sa common as they once were, either.

I use it as an organic slug and snail barrier for my salad leaves
planter, never thought about using it as an antenna.
Cue experiment....
