Hi Fellas,
Your old buddy Dr. Slick is back again, pleading on his hands and knees for more sage advice from the masters of antenna design, YOU GUYS. (well, at least a few of you... hehe! The rest you have to ignore...) Ok, so my wireless D-link modem computer is downstairs from the wireless router, and so the signal is very low using just the antenna stub that it comes with. So i found this: http://turnpoint.net/wireless/has.html And this Yagi-Uda scaled for 2.4 GHz: http://seattlewireless.net/index.cgi/MicroTVAerial Someone told me that the Yagi-uda wouldn't be as good as the cantennas, as the later gathers more RF power, being a type of reflector and such. Since the Nalley's Big Chunk "Beef Stew" design won, i think i will try that, with a funnel attached as on this page: http://www.saunalahti.fi/~elepal/antenna2.html Any knowledgable advice greatly appreciated.
