Is this air cap useful for a mag loop

Found it in a junk store. No ratings info. No way to test it, without
spending $80 on a tester that has a decent range.

Had hoped to find a dual stator, but they didnt have it. This cost me $8.
It has a nice knob.

Any ideas what range might be? Doubt it is good for more than 5 - 10w QRP,
right?

I figured it could at least act as a way to tune a listening loop? I can
fit a business card between the blades, when they are meshed together.

Normal/Abnormal? Should I worry or am I asking too much?

First off, I am not an SWR freak...but as an engineer I always try to do
the best. If that means 1.6:1 or 1.8:1 is the best so be it. Otherwise Id
like to know some tricks to get better than that. Heres the scoop:

1. MFJ hamsticks in a pair on a 25 push up fiberglass pole. Working fine
but...looking at the pole base with analyzer I get no more than 30
ohms "R"...X is zero or nearly so. Therefore Im assuming the 1.5 or 1.6 I
get...
