1200 and 2400 MHz antenna design

Looking for a design for a multi-element (10-20) yagi antenna that I may use
for sending/receiving wireless audio/video used for surveillance system.
Not having the best of luck finding same at this point.
Any help for one's already designed or a good formula to go by to build my
own.

Thanks,
Mitchell

Take a look at these pages on my web site:

This may give you the help you need. Watch out for the popups because it's a
free web site.

If you decide to buy, check out http://www.directivesystems.com/ . Some of
their stuff is also available from Down East Microwave. For abour $100 you
will get one with about twice the number of elements you mention. At these
frequencies all your dimensions have to be very exact. I once bought their
big 2.4 GHz loop Yagy.

Wifi runs at 2.4Ghz... There are tons of high gain antennas available for 2.4Ghz
band, some of which are pretty reasonable.

Thanks

Hi Mitchell,

Why do you need that many elements?

When higher gains are sought, other approaches are more effective, for a given
form factor, than a Yagi-Uda.

What gain/beam do you need?
