Any experience with a NB6ZEP antenna
It is found at http://home.teleport.com/~nb6z/nb6zep.htm
It is a basic 20m extended zepp used on 40m-10m with ladderline and a tuner. You can add an extension to gain 80m. Anybody tried this antenna? Randy Ka4nma |

Technically, an Extended Double Zepp is a single-band antenna. That 76 ft. antenna is an EDZ on 15.8 MHz. An EDZ is 1.28WL, the point of maximum gain for a dipole pattern. Below 15.8 MHz, the radiation pattern will have two main lobes. Above 15.8 MHz, the radiation pattern will become multi-lobed (cloverleaf) and have very little broadside radiation. On 6.2 MHz, that antenna is just a 1/2WL dipole. It should work well on 40m-10m. -- 73, Cecil http://www.qsl.net/w5dxp ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Uncensored-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 100,000 Newsgroups ---= East/West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =--- |
