I use one on my SUV - also used it on a long trip thru South America with
great success.
Recommend you tie a fishing line to it when driving fast on highways.
For stationary use I use the new MFJ 12 foot telescopic top in lieu of the
supplied one - it really improves the signal on 20, 30 and 40m. The coil
oxidizes after a few
months - at least in my climate. Toothpaste will clean it up quickly. Good
antenna.
