This is a mast kit, not an antenna. I'd caveat that by saying if you
could use the mast, and insulated it from ground, you *could* make a 20
meter halfwave antenna. We use a number of these masts during field day.

Well, there is some kind of antenna apparatus that comes with this

and am really quite satisfied with it. My purposes are primarily
shortwave listening. Darren

Looks to me as if the mast is, or contains, coax. The antenna is
constructed at the top of the pole and looks like a discone. Might be for
the 70 MHz region.
