shortwave 47 meter
 

Hallo.

I'm looking for a shortwave antenna which can be easy build on a 25
meter mast.
This antenna needs a resonant frequenty of +/- 6.7 mhz.
The reason wy i wanna build this antenna is that my wife's mother is
living in Sumatra Indonesia and workt a long time for the national
radio.
You can say she is a real radio freak and that's wy I pick up the plan
to start a radio station here from holland (europe)so she can here
here our dougther and my wife on here own shortwave radio.
I have allready design a final amp for this project and it will be
ready in about 9 month. It's a class A 4cx15000 exiter modulated Amp.
It will produce about 6KW. Now we need a good antenna which can
handle this kind of power and can put the signal into Indonesia and
the rest of the world.
I can build a 1/4 wave vertical but in my opinion the vertical opening
of this antenna will produce onely one skip. I need an antenna with a
wide fertical angle so it will deliver the signal all throu out the
country's at all time. (multy skip)
To produce the power is not so hard but when we start our transmitting
my grandmother have to here it. That will be so nice.
I'm sorry that my english is so bad to explane exactly what i need so
i hope somebody will understand it.
