Henry Amps RIP

Hi Guys,

I heard the news via the internet... and it's true. Henry amps are no
more...:

Here's the e-mail from Mr. Henry Himself:

From: "Ted Henry"
To: "Chuck Adkins (K8CPA)"
Subject: Lost your Lease?
Date: Thursday, February 10, 2005 12:23 PM

There were about 15 reasons why we stopped - the primary reason was
that the business has lost money for a number of years. The loss of
the lease was about 5th down on the many reasons it made no sense to
continue the business.

Thanks for your interest.

Their business location is in one of the priciest areas in the

country.
I wonder if they moved elsewhere if they could have survived?

Hard to say...I guess it depends on what level they would want to
exist...I wonder how long parts will last....I've got a 2k classic
console..
I better grab some spare parts I need before they dry up...I assume
they would keep some for at least a year, to cover the last ones
warranty. They made a tank...Mine reminds me of R2-D2....At about
125-130 pounds, I never move it...:/ Sits on the floor to my left,
and sort of makes my table an L, the way the controls, tuner, radios,
wrap around...
