DUTCH PACC CONTEST FOREIGN SECTION 2005
The Vereniging voor Experimenteel Radio Onderzoek in Nederland (VERON) has
the honour of inviting amateurs all over the world to participate in the
50th Dutch PACC Contest.
Date and Period: Each second full weekend in February from 12.00 GMT on
Saturday until 12.00 GMT on Sunday. So in 2005 the Dutch PACC Contest will
be held on February 12 th and 13 th.
Bands and Modes: 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters, CW and SSB, no crossmode
or crossband contacts allowed.
Please use frequencies according to the IARU Region 1 preferred contest
segments:
CW: 1830 - 1850, 3500 - 3560 and 14000 - 14060 kHz
SSB: 3600 - 3650, 3700 - 3800 and 14125 - 14300 kHz
NOTE: SSB QSOs on 160 are not valid in the PACC contest!
Categories : Single operator, Multi operator, SWL and QRP ( max 5 W
max.output )
Exchange: RS(T) + QSO serial number, starting with 001. Dutch stations give
RS(T) + Province abbreviation. These are GR, FR, DR, OV, GD, UT, NH, ZH, FL,
ZL, NB and LB (total of 12).
Points: Each QSO with a PA, PB, PC, PF, PG, PE, PH, and PI station counts
for 1 (one) point. Contacts must be confirmed with R, TU, OK or QSL. A
station may be worked only once per band, irrespective of the mode.
Multipliers: 1 multiplier per Province per band, regardless of mode with a
maximum of 6*12=72 or 5*12=60 if SSB only is used.
Final Sco The sum of all QSO points on all bands, multiplied by the sum
of all multipliers on all bands.
SWL: Each different Dutch station heard per band counts for 1 (one) point.
Multipliers as above. Logs must contain the codegroups transmitted by the
Dutch station and the foreign station worked with.
Logs: As usual a score calculation is required. Please use a multiplier
column and insert the multiplier in this column only if it is a new one.
Please sign log for observation of the contest rules. The closing date for
contest entries is March 31st 2005.
