Need recommendation: 2M antenna for motorcycle

Bill,
Almost any 2 meter antenna will work on a motorcycle.

What say you?

I had good performance with a Larsen 5/8WL mag mount on the luggage
rack of my Kawasaki Z1-B. I suspect a 1/4WL would work well.

If you look carefully at Cops bikes, the antennas THEY use are Coaxial
Antennas-- 1/4 wave piece of pipe, (aprox 19 inch long, ) capped, with
either a 1/4, or 5/8 wave antenna mounted on top of the cap. These can even
be mounted to plastic, and still provide great counter-poise , relative to
just a 1/4 wave whip, mounted anywhere to a bike-- as info, Jim NN7K
