K9 email filter--EXCELLENT & FREE
K9 email filter is free. It is an excellent way to deal with spam. And, it
supports perl regular expressions. Set up correctly it can deal with ~100% of spam--silently deleting it without a bother... Without it, you cannot use usenet--with a valid email address--without being spammed to death--with it, you don't even know the spammers exist... http://keir.net/k9.html Regards, John |
I should have pointed out, although K9 states it does not support SSL--with
3rd party utilities--it does support SSL.... sTunnel and the openssl libraries is the key to setting this up... and, I use gmail with such a setup through outlook... and, of course, this is all freeware or donation-ware... also, if anyone wants to be invited for a free gmail account, let me know and consider it done... then check your email...
