Dear Mr. Tom Lutz (W0ZR ?):
I am surprised that you have not received a reply. The combination of the two antennas would be a fine choice for working DX on all except 30 meters. Best on a tower over 70 feet above average ground. The conventional wisdom (not accurately measured) is that LPDA prefer to be well separated from other antennas. If you model the antennas in some version of NEC (EZNEC is preferred by me) it will be straight forward to see interactions. You might wish to consider Tennadyne's new LPDA that extends down to 10 MHz. http://www.tennadyne.com/new_models.htm Might you have a set of dimensions of the antennas you are contemplating? 73 Mac N8TT -- J.
