how to feed a planar monopole antenna using ie3d

can any one guide me in the way to feed a planar monopole antenna using
a probe(the method for MSA is known to me). The 3-D view shows as if
the probe is connected but actually on simulation i could make out that
it is not connected.so,the querry is how to connect and how to check if
the probe is connected
