Darn Englishmen!!! If you listen to them, you can cook a whole meal in a
single pot (stew)!!!! Now, who would ever believe that!

I've just deleted all messages, past and present, now unretrievable,
from all newsgroups, including this one.

The best antenna I've ever had is an 18-gauge, enamelled wire, going
from the kitchen window, up to a pole on the house chimney, and then
horizontal to a pole at the other end of the overgrown-with-weeds back
garden.

It is unbeatable.

Interesting you should say that, Wife had a meeting tonight and supper was
to be catch as catch can. She got home a bit early and put a stew together.
I contributed a batch of cornbread. The combination was gooooood!

Congrats on the upgrade. I view mine as a "license to learn".

Absolutely correct, I'm aware of my state of ignorance and amazed that I
managed to pass the tests that have elevated my status in
Hamdom. I am sorry that I was 72 by the time I achieved this level,
it's gonna' limit the time I have left to learn.(G) Well, it's gonna' limit
the amount of climbing I'm willing to do on antenna work, at least.
