I've just deleted all messages, past and present, now unretrievable,
from all newsgroups, including this one.

The best antenna I've ever had is an 18-gauge, enamelled wire, going
from the kitchen window, up to a pole on the house chimney, and then
horizontal to a pole at the other end of the overgrown-with-weeds back
garden.

It is unbeatable.

Did you enamel the wire before - or after - you put it up ?

Why couldn't it be done in realt time?

refer to previous threads: time doesn't really exist because its only a
measure of movement.
so my question also had no meaning - (for the time (?) being)

Were the weeds essential?

Weeds are not essential; cactus is essential.

Ah, I think I understand. You're using a phased ow!ray system there
in the foreground, right?

.... although maybe those needles are for corona discharge purposes ...
