I'd stay away from Antenna Warehouse if I were you. I bought one of their
antennas after they offered free shipping. When I paid for it and asked to have
it shipped USPS, they asked for $4.50 for shipping, claiming that although the
auction didn't specify that they would only ship free via UPS, they had the
right to charge me more because I didn't want the item delivered to my house.

I filled a complaint with the BBB and they didn't reply to it, so it's on
record with them as well. Also, with their antennas, you get what you pay for.
http://www.buxcomm.com has good antennas for reasonable prices.

Hello Andrew,

I see your still misrepresenting your story trying to garner support
and slam us.

Allow me to correct you once again with the facts.

You were charged a additional shipping cost amount that represented
the difference between what the carrier you demanded we use charged and
what our normal carrier would have charged. You were ask to provide
other than a P.O. box address that we could provide free shipping to
using our carrier and you refused, demanding that your alternate carrier
be used. You did not have to accept the amended offer, but you did and
then started your harassment campaign at a later date.

Your flawed contention, that because we advertised Free shipping
without specifying a particular shipping method, we are obligated to use
whatever method you choose, has been rejected by all parties that you
have tried to involve. By your twisted logic we should have ship
overnight by hand courier if that's what you demanded.

Your childish BBB harassment attempt WAS responded to by us. After
we had explained our position the case was closed by the BBB due to your
unreasonable position. Not that the truth has ever stop your silliness
before, but we have copied the "case closed" e-mail we received from the
BBB below so you can refresh your memory.

As for your unfounded jab at the quality of our products, our
feedback on ebaY that is over 2500 strong speaks much louder than your
embellished whining over $4.00 does.

As someone who now has one of these antennas laying in a heap in his
yard, if you're in an area prone to high winds, I'd think twice. The
antenna was a fine functioning one, but upon an evening of 45-60mph wind
gusts, and a year in the air, it crumpled. From looking at it, I'd say
their cost savings comes from a cheaper fiberglass tubing on the
exterior.

Hello John,

The one you bought back on 05/06/02 is not one of the current models
that we are selling. Sometime back when it was brought to our attention
that the former models of these antennas had wind survivability problems
we changed manufactures. The new manufacture is providing much heavier
duty units that do not exhibit the same problem.

The former models came from he

The current models are coming from he

If you'll gather up the pieces of the damaged one from the heap and
send them back to us along with a copy of your sales receipt we will see
if we can get it replaced for you.
