Hi Jim, Perhaps not, but "quite uniform" is rather in the eye of the beholder. When I take panagraphic photographs (a broad scale), it is quite evident that the uniformity is not very uniform. Another variable is that polarization is not very uniform either (which, photographically may be saying the same thing).
