Grounding for Vertical Question

I'm getting ready to install some sort of vertical for my station, so
I'm not warming the clouds on 80 meters.

What will be the results of only having radials on one side of the
antenna? I have a choice of three places to put the thing, and in each
place the radials can only go one way.

Right... that's not an elevated radial, dear... It's for the climbing roses
I'm going to plant sometime in the next 27 years. :)
