Anyone know of any calculators which enable a user to get an approximation
of the Z range of an antenna tuner by feeding in the variable values ?

If you have MicroSmith, make the load equal to 50 ohms. Set up a
series C, a parallel L, and a series C that agrees with the values
in your antenna tuner and watch the Smith Chart as the values of C
and L are changed. It's pretty interesting to see.
