Antenna booster amp

Hi, i have a question about a Kingray masthead TV antenna Amp, the power
supply feeds 22vac up to the amp. as far as i know, there should be no
voltage showing on the tv side of the power supply. i tested 2 of these
power supplies, one had 22v at the output to tv and to the antenna, other
had 22vac to antenna and about 8vac to tv. both 22vac 150ma. Somehow i don't
think either of them are any good. what do you people think?

Gary

If you have your heart set on using one of these amps, like for instance a
0.3db noise figure, get a DC block for the TV side. Other than that, it
sounds like it may be junk, and you would be better off with a
ChannelMaster.
