"There is nothing so frightening as somebody who knows he is right."

And Mike Faraday never met Mike Jackson.

Hi Reg
Great minds think alike:
I recall a Chinese saying that goes something like:

"Respect those who seek the truth, distrust those who have found it."

So ehm, what's the point of seeking it?
really deep philosophy Eh?

Back to the insulated wire. If the wire exhibits the shortening factor from
insulation, that ain't the truth?
So I should respect those who are seeking the answer, know not about it,
question it because they never tried it, they read some stuff, but who knows?
Phoey on those who know it, did it, seen it, measured it, cut it. They should
be distrusted?
Some "wisdom"! Carry on gentlemen of great minds, as Cecil once termed it
"mental masturbation".
Back to nuts and volts.

Yuri,
da know nothing, seeking the truth after clearing my memories with FFFFs. Can I
be trusted now?

Actually I think Rumsfeld's recently honored exposition on what we know,
what we know we don't know, what we don't know we know, etc. ad nauseum was
just as much fun.

No offense intended Yuri, but if you have to ask the question, you don't
understand the concept. Think about it a while. :-)
