TV antenna question-cable length

At the second house in the country,my TV antenna, which is in the attic, is
working fairly well but I wonder if shortening the cable from the present 50
feet to the 20 feet I really need will help. The present cable has very
professional fittings at each end since it was sold as a unit .
I have a crimper and fittings

if its a decent brand of cable with good connectors its probably not worth
shortening it. you will reduce the loss by about 50%, but the loss is
probably low enough that it doesn't matter anyway.

Whack it down.
Might just make the difference between fairly well and very good.
It did at my cabin in the country.
