McMaster Carr at mcmaster.com has a lot of hardware too.
Is the SHAFT of these bolts splined near the head? Never seen those, but it sounds like a good idea. There are ones with the serrations on the bottom of the head itself. McMaster has those, they're pretty common. Dan N3OX |

Avoid check surplus bolts of unknown origin - bad event - bolt shears - and it was a check Far East knock-off, incorrectly marked. g. beat |

"Avoid check surplus bolts of unknown origin." All bolts may have questionable origin. In addition to the bolt`s shear strength, it may loose its head at too low a torque. Use a torque wrench to measure the point at which several bolts lose their heads. Best regards, Richard Harrison, KB5WZI |
