Diamond Antenna Question
I have a Diamond X510 dual band antenna (2/70), which has an SO239 socket
for termination. Has anyone changed this to an 'N' Type before? Say by using an N type chassis mount? I don't want to rip the antenna down and apart before I know whether it's been done and if it's a huge task or not. I have some LDF450 to replace the lossy RG213, the cable already has N type termination, so rather than fork out for a LDF PL259 type connector (Aus $70.00) I'd prefer to change the antenna connection. Any advice gents? I have looked for an PL259 to N connector, none appear available. Yet plenty the other way around (always the way) Thanks in advance 73 Troy |
