My understanding of the difference is that the round emblem appeared when
Rockwell acquired Collins Radio. Therefore, the winged emblem was used when it was Art Collins &Co. and the round one was used for the later products produced as a part of Rockwell. If someone has a different understanding, I would be eager to learn about it.
