Sluggish TX on FT-726R 2 meters
My vintage VHF rig is acting up after almost 30 years
of service. The 2-meter module is slow to produce RF output when keyed. I suspect a sluggish oscillator. The relays have been cleaned. Once it starts running, the TX cycles are good, until the radio is left unused for a period. Has anyone seen this before? Solutions? I had it apart on the bench but could I was never quick enough to catch the fault. Pete |

Cleaned the relay, and resoldered a few joints, no working as intended. Pete |
