Heathkit sb101 Nylon Spiral Follower
Ref Nylon Spiral Follower pn 266-74
I have a heathkit SB101 and the upper dial doesn't move. It seems the Nylon Spiral Follower is worn out or broken. Does anyone happen to have one of these followers or have any success in fabricating a replacement? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! |

I have dealt with them in the past for Heathkit transceiver repairs. Their website is located at this URL http://www.rtoham.com/ There are also several other repair folks out there for Heathkit gear. I once fabricated one using a brass keeper from an RC airplane linkage kit. It's the part that secures the cable to a servo arm. You might also subscribe to the yahoo heathkit newsgroup. There are lots of posts in there. 73's Mike K8MB |
