Dial Drum Spring for Heathkit Mohawk RX-1
 

I need a new Dial Drum Spring, part number 258-10 for my Heathkit
Mohawk. This is the torsion spring that pulls the dial back around as
you change bands. Does anyone know where I can find one?

James, watch eBay. I've seen them parted out from time to time.
If you see someone selling the bigger items, you might email
them and ask if they have the spring as well. Have you tried
the better hardware stores in your area for a workaround?
Many of them have good odd assortments of hardware
that you wouldn't expect to find.
