Help to identify old Boatanchor receiver
It has all the hallmarks of an aviation/airborne receiver. I'd snoop the GEC
avionics sites. Good luck. Smokey "ron_ayling" wrote in message ... Hi, can anyone identify this old receiver at http://www.atdi24.dsl.pipex.com/gecreceiver.htm made by GEC, any info or circuit details would be excellent thanks from Ron g3yuh... |
Help to identify old Boatanchor receiver
G.E.C. became GEC-Marconi. There was an office
in Atlanta, GA near me but they packed off and moved to Dallas, Texas. Look at GEC-Marconi Avionics which is the name they used here. Looks like WW II. One place that has lots of experts is the KW-2000 group on Yahoo. They discuss not only KW-2000's but other gear such as Heathkit UK, Labgear 300's. I am betting there is someone on that group of several hundred that has something like this receiver. 73 Dave K4JRB "ron_ayling" wrote in message ...
