Marconi CSR5 A manual needed
 

Hi,
Just picked up one of these.

Can anyone point me to a source for the owner's manual? I have a copy of a
copy that is in rough shape and it is missing information

Also- What is the difference between a 5 and a 5A

There's a downloadable copy on www.royalsignals.org.uk as File 598,

"File No. 598 Instructions, Marconi CSR-5 Radio Receiving Equipment,
Type 110-930 RCN Patt. No. 3A/107"

follow the instructions on the webpage to get the download link and
the password to read/print the file. (You'll need Acrobat Reader V9.)

Also- What is the difference between a 5 and a 5A

No idea, but there's a circuit for the CSR-5A on the same site as
File No. 26 "Marconi Communications Receiver model CSR5A Circuit Diagram"

(Note: non-members of the Yahoo group can only request one document.)
