Default 802 xtal transmitter

I recently purchased a one-tube hb xmtr off of ebay and I'm wondering
about its origins? I seem to recall this circuit being published
somewhere...maybe in a newer publication?

Uses an 802 tube which is not a very common choice. Mine is new era
construction and well built. Don't think I'll have any problem firing
it up but mainly my curiosity is after me to recall where I saw this
particular circuit?

Ring any bells?

-Bill
