Does anyone have schematics and lineup documentation for this fine
2M receive converter?

Were they anything special? I remember seeing Tecraft ads after the fact,
and I don't remember anything special about them. So I thought they'd
have a fairly generic tube lineup. It was the Tapetone and Redline that
were extra special and probably had people like Sam Harris involved in the
design.

I have no idea if they are anything special! I picked one up for the
nuvistors but then the longer it sat around the more I figured I should
get it running and see how well it works.

I thought Tecraft was late fifties. So find an ad that might give some
idea what the converter is like. Maybe Frank Jones VHF Handbook, which
has ads at the back, might say something. I might try to dig out my copy,
if Tecraft was in business at the time the book was published, I think
they would have had an ad in there.

It's nuvistorized, so how can it be bad! Looks like a gain stage, a mixer
stage, an oscillator stage and then some kind of amplifier stage on the
output with everything being tuned. I'd just like a schematic so I can
figure out where the IF really is supposed to be. This one came with no
crystals.

CQ or QST would be the obvious magazines to check. There were probably
reviews.

But a manual?
