FS: 3KW AM broadcast transmitter

FS: Large 3KW AM broadcast transmitter. It is currently converted to 3870,
3880, and 3885Khz. It has a pair of 4-1000 final tubes modulated by a pair
of 4-1000 tubes. Includes 5 spare tubes (good used pulls). Transmitter has
ALL Peter Dahl transformers in it throughout (original factory), single
phase. The model is a Wilkinson AM-2500B and is easy to convert to other
bands. Includes all manuals, it's heavy, and beautiful (pix available ONLY
to serious parties). Turn it on and it puts out the full legal power on AM
(100% modulation) but at the accidental flick of another switch you'll be
way over ILLEGAL limit. It's ready to go, $4200.

Note that, although the 4-1000A tubes used in this transmitter have
gotten quite pricey, this is a 2.5 kW transmitter that you would be
running at reduced power. That, combined with the fact that you won't
be running it 24/7, and that 5 spare tubes are included, means that
you may never have to buy new tubes for this rig.
