FA: BC-611 Battery Adapter on eBay
 

Hi All,
I just thought I'd mention that there is a rather rare D cell
adapter for the BC-611 series on eBay right now. This is the filament
battery adapter (military designation is FT-501) which subs 2 D cells
for the hard to get filament battery in this radio. The item # is
2195078064.
