Panoramic Indicator IP-69A/ALA-2
 

I have recently inherited one of these which
I suspect was used as part of an aircraft
installation, but I would like to learn more
about it.
Please can anyone help, or suggest a website
or two?

It is indeed aircraft - the optional panadaptor for the AN/APR-4Y ECM
receiver. With it, the whole lot becomes an AN/ALR-5.
