FS: Set of Tubes for early AC Radios
 
FS: One 27ST, three 26ST, One Globe 171A, and Globe 245. All test strong on my
TV-7. The globe 45 tests at min but plays in radio fine. Offers? Thanks

That's an odd audio tube lineup. I used to fool with those early AC TRF sets,
and don't everyr ecall a set using a 71A to drive a 45. Usually either the 71A
was the output, or push-pull 45's. I wonder if in fact you ahve push-pull
output and it should be two 71As, or two 45s?

Not that I'd try swapping the two tubes, since the filament voltages may be
different (darn, I used to know stuff like that). --Mike K.

Mike, saw your post. I never meant to imply this set of tubes were for the
same radio but for use in different radios of the era. You correctly pointed
out that use by all in the same set would not make sense. Regards, Larry
