Thanks to those who responded to my 42 vs 28A post. Frank, I am just using a
random length wire antenna, but you raised an interesting point about the antenna possibly being a better match for one than the other. I will go back to the manuals and give it some thought. 73 Mike KF6KXG |

It's my impression most pre-war designs used a higher impedance antenna input which would work better with an end fed random wire. Frank Dresser |
