FS: Heathkit GR-91 receiver - works
I have for sale an old Heathkit GR-91 4-band shortwave tube
receiver. Good physical condition - an easy 8 out of 10, with no mods I can see. Still has cardboard rear cover and original jacks for antenna, Q-multiplier, and phones. Has noise blanker. Face is excellent with no major mars or scratches - one small scrape near the Antenna Trim control. Very hot & loud on band A - AM broadcast. It receives on all the other bands, but sensitivity is low, and the BFO control needs to be cleaned.\ But I was able to receive SW signals on bands B and C - not much on the highest band. Photos to interested parties - $45 obo plus UPS shipping from Seattle area or local pickup in the Pacific Northwest. I prefer a money order, but other means can be arranged. Thanks, Dave |
