The 5-pin din was pretty common on old European gear.
1 Left audio in 2 Chassis ground 3 Left audio out 4 Right audio in 5 Right audio out I believe the mystery 6-pin is for the mic, which had a built-in remote control. Hope this helps! Jim I have some 1/4" tapes I'd like to transfer from an old Uher 4000 Report recorder to CD. Problem is that the "Radio/Phono" connection is a 5-pin din and I'm not sure which pins (if any) will give me a line-out to feed to a soundcard line in. There is also a 2-pin "Speaker/Earphone" out, and a mystery 6 pin din out marked with a triangle (power?). Any suggestions from Uher gurus? Greg. |
