icom 22s channel change knob allen key
 

Greetings

Can someone please tell me what size allen key wrench is needed to unlock
the channel change knob on the icom 22s. I don't have the size and it would
be nice to be able to go to the hardware store and only buy the size I need
rather than a pack of allen keys most of which I probably don't need.. I do
have some allen keys but not the right size..

It may NOT be an Allen screw, check very carefully (could be Bristol or
Torx).
This was about the time that Icom was using Torx screws on some pieces of
equipment.
It's been ages since I had an Icom 22S, but I do remember that they also had
bad Phillips screws (pot metal) .. and I barely was able to remove one
screw --
has to order a set of 4 screws from Icom -- and it took 4 months to get that
part in the late 1970s.
