Troublshooting TS-830
 

Thanks for the many replies to my questions about a recently aquired
Kenwood TS-830.
im in the process of checking it out,and looking for someone that
knows the 830 pretty well..
it has no transmit audio in SSB..
it tunes 100 watts out on CW..but can't get a peep put of it in SSB...
if i turn the vox on,,it does recognize it at goes into transmit
mode,but no audio,,the wattmeter does not move...
any ideas?

The speech processor switch. The TX audio is routed thru it.
