Drake right angle mic plug
Does anyone remember who was selling the right angle mic plugs for
Drake/Collins equipment? Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks -- Mike-K5VSE Formerly WB6VSE, senior tech, amateur division SBE/Linear Systems, Watsonville, CA All out going mail scanned with Norton AntiVirus 2005 On 3.922 nightly In God We Trust |

The Drake spare parts list shows the 230 (.206 dia. black handle/cap) for the mike and the 229 (.250 dia. red handle/cap) for the key/headphone. I've seen them in parts catalogs (Allied or was it Mouser) and I've seen them listed on eBay. They could be used on Collins but they were ideally suited for the Drake gear having the jacks on the side of the rig. This is the Switchcraft spec sheet for those plugs: http://www.switchcraft.com/products/jack-137.html RG |

The straight-on Collins plugs definitely dictates how you arrange your Drake equipment. 73, Ted KX4OM |
