This receiver has been restored to original specifications by an engineer
who has worked with communications equipment for 50 years. HP 608 sig gen
used to measure sensitivity and dial accuracy. Detailed military manual
included. Photos emailed on request. I will not risk shipping, pickup
only. $650.

Interesting, since the HP 608 covers from 10 mhz to 480 mhz. How did he
align the receiver below 10 mhz?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Used the Sylvania 216 for IF sweep and low end tracking with external
counter. TM 11-897 calls out dial accuracy of 0.2% which it meets after
some effort. Band 6 sensitivity is not specified in the TM nor is the RF
amp gain. Rather dead for such a high end receiver and I believe it is due
in part to the second harmonic LO used in band 6 only. Lower bands meet the
TM spec sensitivity.
