I don't have any spec.'s for Airadio but I remember radios for 148.++ Mhz.
AM. Probably for
12 Volt aircraft use. Don't remember much more about them.

I have some old info here on aircraft receivers - perhaps transmitters as
well. I'm pretty sure they were covered in very early "Sams" Photofacts. I'm
talking WAY BACK. Can't recall brand name at moment.

The CAP transmitters were not "Aircraft" in the normal sense but were
outside the amateur
band in the military frequency band. Some Amateur equipment was used on
the ground
and special equipment was used in the aircraft. (as I remember :-) )
